The soft-starter is a new type product.It has the multi-function such as soft start-up,soft stopping,light-load energy-saving and protective functions.It is consist of electrical thyristor which series connection between the power source and motor and electronics control circuit.

Based on several kinds of ways,the conduction angle of the thyristor is controlled.So the input voltage increase gradually from zero to full voltage(based ongthe default FUNC relations)until the start-up finished.In the process of soft start-up,motor start torque and the speed increase gradually.
